Hardscape

Xeriscape (pronounced zera-scape), is a very specific branch of landscaping which centers around the use of native or water-conservative plants that require minimal water and low maintenance. These are usually found in rock-beds.

Hardscape, on the other hand, is a branch of landscaping which includes all non-living aspects of landscaping (see “What is Hardscaping?”). Driplines and other means of providing water to plants can be incorporated, so that the customer has full freedom when adding plants in the future.

Absolutely! We are happy to work with you to design the landscape of your dreams, which often includes plants. The only planting we do ourselves is hydroseeding. However, we are happy to incorporate any existing plants, and even prepare for any new plants that you want to add into the overall plan, (including amending the soil and installing drip systems). This makes it possible for you to add the plants whenever it is convenient for you or once it has reached an ideal time of year for planting!

We offer custom retaining walls and steps, which can be functional, decorative, or both. Each wall has extensive drainage behind it, to ensure the stability and longevity of your wall for years to come. Don’t hesitate to ask about our 4 part drainage system that we use on all of our retaining walls!
